Visitors of all ages made sculpture with nature (and picnicked) in the brand-new Wild Zone established within the 40-acre Ulistac Natural Area. Three weeks earlier, a group of Intel executives had helped me gather materials and build the starting framework for the Wild Zone, in the shape of a 40-foot-long boat. During the Wildflower Celebration, visitors made sculpture in and around the boat, as well as under the boat ("buried treasure").
